GPS and tools like Google Maps are a staple of the modern technological experience. Without GPS, we would, quite literally, be lost. But as much as GPS is about knowing where you’re going, it’s also good for knowing where you are — or rather, so your employer knows where you are.
TSheets recently conducted a survey of 500 Aussie employees to find out how they would feel, or have felt, about their employer tracking their location at work, either on their mobile device or a company vehicle. And what employees said might surprise you.
From simply knowing how many employees have been tracked at work to employees’ top concerns about being tracked, we discovered it all. (We even found out if employers are unknowingly breaking the law by using GPS tracking on employees!).
